Hi All,

I have a funny problem with my car (Mondeo V6), when I stop sometimes, I turn off the ignition and take out the keys (all very normal you may think) but the engine is still running Its not pre ignition, it runs as smoothly as it does normally, I can rev it, drive it, do everything I can do when the keys are in, only they're not in, they are in my hand!! been scratching my head a bit over this one and its got me well and truly stumped. any help would greatly appreciated.

could have summit to do with ur ignition module!

or could just be a wiring fault!

if its a MK1 mondeo they r comon for water leaks and it gets into all the wires!

my best bit is take it to FORD even though it might b pricey!

Sauce!! Its a MK2 though so hopefully not too much wrong with it, did have a huge problem with the tail lights letting in water (like the young ones hole in my shoe if you are old enough to remember) replaced the light clusters and it seems fine now, maybe could be residual water damage though do you think?

sounds like ignition relay sticking,try tapping it when it occurs again
