radio code

I have escort LX 1.6
battery went flat.
after recharging the battery , the radio wouldn't accept the code I've got..
i used two trials....
it is RDS EON 5000
any idea what I should do?

normal ford stereo??

take it out and post up the serial number - should start with an 'M'

tell you the code soon as I see it!!

how can i take the radio out..?

what gadget do I need? I haven't seen any screws in it ?
