everytimei put my foot on the clutch the revs drop really low and if i hold it on there for a few seconds the car stalls, it has something to do with clutch cable as when i lift it off it will rise...can anyone suggest anything

 

i had this problem the trust washers fell off the crank allowing exessve end float,if this is the case you will need an engine,take sump off and have a look
