Default suspension help!

hi just a few suspension questions. ive got a 4x4 saph, high comp, around 450bhp 500lbs.

re-building it at the mo and i was planning on putting coilovers on it but i see alot of quick ones have konis or suchlike on the back i presume this is cos theyre softer for launching?

its fully poly bushed, adjustable rosejointed top monts and a double anti roll bar set up on the front with 8x17 wheels. think il have to put 225 40 17 tires on if they dnt rub.

i want to do some track days but mainly 1/4 mile

just wandering what to go for?! avo/gaz coilovers or spax/koni set up or mix and match?!! please help!

Never had coil-overs myself, but have read on here you really need to strengthen the top shocker mounting point if using coil-overs,because was only designed as a shocker mounting point, not a load bearing point like the spring seats were designed for

cheers il look into it. not bothered about doin the work if theyll be better but i just want as much grip as pos cos even with the quaifs etc it ripped up. also anyone know about seam welding or where to do it? i was jus gona do the door edges but i hear you can go too far and with it being that stiff it can weaken the metal, ie touring car bodys dont last that long?
