bought my first saff the other day runs and drives excellent but when i get to about 5k revs it stutters, its not like overboost its more like it runs out of boost there is no violent jerking just more of a stutter any help? thanks

 

has it had a new fuel filter recently? if not, replace it (you'll need new copper washers )

 

Perhaps the wrong spec spark plugs are fitted, or they're gapped wrong. What plugs are fitted, and what's the engine spec ?

 

hello not sure on the filter or the plugs will give it a good service see if that cures it, its stage one cheeRS

 

spark plugs from Ford, finis no. 1120834, are popular and cheap - about Ł12 for 4.
