I could do with a couple of question answering that I have on my esccos.

First of all I need to swap the clock cluster for a short period of time. I got a standard xr3i mk5 set that reads up to 150mph, all the plugs and speedo cable look the same so im sure it will all work my only question is will the speedo read correct or will it be out as the standard escort cosworth clocks read upto 170mph?

Second, I have a coil pack conversion done on my escort and want to fit a full throttle gearshift system that works as a rev limit under the clutch, I have fitted these to a few cars with coils before and wire upto negative terminal. How do I go about fitting this to my car with a coil pack? The instructions say to cut in-between the wire from the ecu to coil pack, im running and L6 ecu with MSD coil pack conversion.
