Default Help with my Shopping List

Hi all,

I am currently preparing a Citroen AX to take a 2WD cossie axle, prop and gearbox. Ill be mounting a citroen engine the right way round So have hatched a plan to set it all up for a pinto block in the future and will use custom brackets to mount my engine from.

heres my project thread if you wanna see loads of pics
https://passionford.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=236964

Heres is the list of things I need as requested by the company doing the conversion, they could have supplied everything but hes a sound bloke and said I will be better off if i source the bits myself:

1) T5 Warner Borg Gearbox

Its going to be used for the track so im not sure if the standard ratios will be good enough. Been offered a dog box for 1500 but a bit out of my price range at the moment. Ive also heard that the M3 6 speed box will fit too?
Ill probably just go for a standard one for now, what sort of power/torque will it handle?

The following bits I will probably buy new from rally design/peterlloyd/west wales rally. Are there any other places I should check out?

2) Group 4 World Cup Xmember

Opinions on this over a standard world cup one?

3) Quick Ratio Steering Rack for mk2 Esco

Since the AX is pretty narrow its probably best to go for the 2.4 ratio one?
New or recon'd? Do rally design sell new ones? I know they are not OE.

4) Mk2 Esco Group 4 Front Suspension

Have been told to get mk2 esco group 4 stuff:
Uprights, coilovers if poss
Alloy hubs
compression struts

What else do i need? Ive got a set of custom wishbones being made and will use AX adjustable top mounts, will the parts i buy from the suppliers above include all the TCAs and other couplings to have a complete front end set up?

5) After reading a few mags etc and checking the specs on a few tasty fords they mention things like anti-dive kits, tension struts and adjustable TCAs etc, what benefit will these bring?

Thanks in advance for your help, ive been on the french hatch scene for a few years now and know the market for whats available for these FWD hatches, this is my first RWD car and dont know anything as you can see from my questions above.
