Default Help with MONDEO ST200 please!

Hi all, am after some help.

Have got a 2000 reg Mondeo st200 that has been great since i bought it. The last couple of days i havce noticed the idle has been a bit high, and yesterday it was all over the place, jumping to 3000rpm when its just sitting there with the clutch dipped. It is also doing it in between gear changes....when accelerating it pulls fine but as soon as the clutch dips the revs rise...

Any ideas would be greatfully appreciated...

Ross

as above , there are 2 or 3 pipes coming off the main induction pipe just after the MAF check these for any leaks or pull them off 1 at at time and put you finger over the hole , if the revs drop then you have a pipe off or split
