Water leak

My 99Escort van is leaking water into driver`s and passenger`s footwells when it rains.I cleared out the drainage holes in the bottom of the door frame but that didn`t help.Any ideas where it might be coming in?

is the battery tray ok mate? no holes or anything? i've had rusty battery trays before now, worth checking
