Default Urgent frst acceleration problems!

Hi chaps need some urgent help with my fiesta rst!

I have just changed the pipe that connects the bottom of the intercooler to the main charge pipe because it split, and now i have full boost again and everythings cool apart from when i try to accellerate on boost about 2500-3500rpm theres a big stutter and all the power is lost, then then the power comes back and so on. Causing a massive kangaroo effect (quite violent). It only started happening when i put this new pipe on!

I dont know if its fuel or electrical releted! the car is standard apart from k&N and magnex.

Please help! has anyone experienced this? any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks gav,

It's overboosting!! Turn the boost down!! Do you have a bleed valve, if not lengthen the actuator rod till it stops doing it. If you have a boost gauge, and it is standard then you can only do about 7 psi before it will overboost!!

Yes, you get the symptoms that you have at the moment...... Best thing to do is after you have adjusted it, go for a drive, put it into 5th gear and boot it from a lowish speed - the boost will always rise slightly higher in the higher gears. If it still does the same, you need lower boost.

All you have to do is lengthen the actuator rod to adjust the boost lower.
