any one own a mk4 cabby and have a boot install, i cant seem to have any ideas, if anyone does post some pics up so i can have a look.
i used to have a s2 rst which had a 2400w amp and 2x 12" subs in the boot...and i cant figure out how to get it all in the boot lol

Not a very common thing i think you will find, they are very poor for installs on the cabriolets due to the poor sound transfer.
That and the fact the cars are extra heavy from the all the extra floor pan strengthening and the weight of the roof.....usually means it doesnt get done often

My mate has got a 10inch sub with a 400watt amp in his cab, and compaired to when he had it in his mk5 escort, it sounds rubbish!! he sorted just jam'd the sub box in aswell!!
You won't get it to sound good short of cutting metal......and i wouldn't advise that
Its all too enclosed it traps the sound
Get a decent set of components in the front and rear, money much better spent IMO
