Fluctuating Cosworth Engine

When cold, my Saphire 4X4 (92) engine fluctautes wildly. Even when driving along, the revs drop to almost nothing and then comes back on.

Any suggestions - Please....

Sounds like your idle valve or the base idle speed is incorrect.

Can these be adjusted if so how and to what spec. or should they be replaced ??

If the revs pick up from a very low idle, it seems the ISCV is working OK. Get your car down to a garage to get them to set up the idle speed and CO.
