Looking at making the rs2000 into a modified rs200 engine. I've been looking at the stats and they are pretty much the same but with a turbo. There are alot! of componets that need serious upgrades to handle the bhp.

If you check the stats, bore, size, it's the same. I am looking at replacing everything down to the crank including nikasil dry liners

If you see a flaw then tell me. If you know a way of getting high performance from the I4 engine then please help.
I don't want a cossie engine it must be the original engine.

Not quite that simple.
The engine has to be stripped out. Bored out and relined among a long list of other modifications.

I think the flaw is the cost involved!! (understatement of the year)

Also why does it have to be the original engine?
