Can any one help?
I need to rebuild by RST motor, should i go ZVH? CVH? or i am thinking of using a 1.8 CVH bottom end with new pistons etc, But dunno if the standard crank can take it
The car is chipped, uprated actuator etc running 14psi.
Any ideas, or anyone have any of the above for sale

Bin the 1.8 idea and just go for a decent 1.6 CVH set up

 

Cheapest easier power is 1.6cvh unless you want 300bhp then go 2.1 zvh IMO

 

you havnt said your budget either, a lot depends on this

 

I am working on 600-700 pounds, so CVH is better than ZVH?

 

I recon if you are going to DIY and have the machining done you could build a solid cvh for that cash
