Default Cossie small turbo "chugging"...

Hi all,

I have a Esc Cossie T28 and it has a annoying problem.
If I floor it, then the car chugs and pulls very uneven .... if I only give it 4/5 throttle....then it pulls perfectly and everything is fine!
The problem ONLY occurs at full throttle ?? ..... what could be wrong?

I have changed the spark plugs ... didn't help.

The car is 100% standard.

Cheers
Thomas

You might be right ...

I think it is a faulty map-sensor ....

Will change it to see....

Cheers for the input!

Have you tried putting a error code reader on it? Trial and error sensor swapping soon gets expensive.

Unfortunately, I don't have access to a error-code-reader.
I could go to FORD but this would also be rather expensive and often they really don't knwo too much about these cars. (not in Denmark anyway)

But I will give them a ring, just to be sure.

Cheers

Most independant garages should have a code reader suitable for Ford cars (3 digit enhanced) and will probably be cheaper.
