my speedo on my mk2 fiesta has all of a sudden started to make a fizzing noise when im travelling at a slightly high speed, any one know whats wrong with it or how to fix it?

COULD JUST BE THE SPEEDO CABLE HAS GOT TWISTED OR RUBBING AGAINST SOMETHING,

IT MAY BE THAT THE CABLE ITSELF IT ON ITS WAY OUT - NOT DEAR TO REPLACE AT ALL
