can any one help me ,,,i have just done the head gasket on my car
and it will not fire ,,,i have checked timing ,i have a spark and fuel,,,
the only thing i think i may of done is mixed the plugs up for the sensors for the injection can any one give me a colur of plug to location,i have the green plug right as it goes to the manifold (intake)but the other plugs are mixed up i am thinking also,,,is there a fuel cut off switch for these rs turbo like a sierra has in the boot,,,,would really appreciate any help

 

Green in the RHS of inlet is right mate , ( knock sensor )

at the back of the inlet manifold u should have a black ( aux air device )

yellow and a brown i think , Blue is for the cold start injector

so that leavs u with just 2 to find out what they do , Come to think of it i think the brown the water temp ??

the sensor colours usually give u a visual anyway

 

is it turning over but just not firing?
not flooded it have you, did that to mine!

 

CHEERS LEE,,HELPED A LOT ,,,,GOT IT GOIN EVENTUALLY,,,,SORTED THE OVER HEATING OUT ,BUT I HAVE A WHEEZNING SOUND ON BOOST I HAVE INSPECTED ALL THE BOOST HOSES AND THE INTERCOOLER THEY ALL LOOK OK ,,ANY ONE ANY IDEAS

 

The hard black plastic hoses to the rear of the inlet , , Aux air device , throttle body etc can produce a wheesing noise ,
