i recently bought an `88 Escort turbo with 71k. it is totally standard and had only been driven about 300 miles in 2 years. the turbo will kick in round about 2500ish rpm but when your just about at 4000 it just stops pulling? at first i thought it was only in second this happened but its actually in all gears, wondered if anyone had any ideas? someone suggested an adjustment on the actuator, didnt know if this was possible?

Also if i go all the way round a rounabout and back the direction i came and try to put the foot down its like all the petrol has gone to one side of the tank or something? this also happens round corners when the fuel guage says just under quarter and the fuel pump starts making some funky noise.
