Default Possable ECU Fault????

Karl has been doing some mapping work on my car laterly and has found this fault?????????????????

The limiter on the chip has been set above 7000rpm but when the car hits exactly 6450 rpm it feels like it has hit the limiter and dies..Karl said it is like a Hard cut..

Now it may be a fault with the ECU which i am hoping it is,or, it could be a loom fault, interferiance????????

Anyone else ever suffered from this??

To tell you the truth it doesnt really bother me as i dont rev the car that hard anyway but it is just annoying now i know its there

Its usually RF Interference corrupting the Crank speed /cam position signals.

once you have removed all the engine bay plugs etc (and engine ) do you have to remove the dash to get the loom through the bulkhead? are all the wires in the ecu purely from that loom so the ecu multiplug can just be pulled through??

wouldnt mind some details on the dingy loom as im changing mine want some bling bling pectal loom style kit though!

FPMSL

Everytime I see those pictures... What was once a piss take of an empty engine bay now becomes toilet humour for the internet generation.

ARSE!!!

Meery Christmas.. BTW I was 23 yesterday
