Please help...!!!

I have just bought a second hand Ford fiesta for my girl friend, and on the way home after handing over £700, I noticed a Big Cluck when changing gear. This was about 1 hour ago from this post.

On the test drive, I drove it so gently because it wasn’t yet my car…!!!

Don’t think it’s the engine mounting, feel like the movement is under the gear stick

Can any of you guys or girls help point me in the right direction?

More than likely a dodgy gearbox mount mate .....

 

The gear linkage moves with the engine, so if there is a noticable jerk in the stick when the noise happens it will be a mount more than likely
