my car was remapped about a year ago still not happy with it so i am going to try another tuner is this possible and what will i need to tell the new tuner so they can remap it .thanks

 

The new mapper will need to know your exact spec of the engine and modifications to the ancilliary systems like uprated fuel pumps etc, compression ratio ideally and if the car is actually fit for the road! (not joking!! Some of the scrap that gets presented for mapping at a well known company is unbelievable).

 

There is only so much you can adjust on a standard ECU, that could easily be your problem.

 

If you have a dyno shop nearby I would get on the rollers for one/ two runs, so that when you take it in to be mapped the tuner has something to go off of. The dyno graph will/should be able to show any ignition, fuel or boost problems (lean, rich, whatever) and where in the rev range the problem acure. Good luck.

 

done most things you said ie the new ecu ,pistons,injectors ,afm,boost controller ,2 power runs ,dont know the compression ratio lets hope that helps thanks martyn
