Please help, just put new loom in 2wd saph and think its out of an escort cos,as its got plugs for lambda. My problem is when i connect the icv up the car goes nuts,and the rev counter takes a life of its own until the engine eventually dies. When turnin ignition on with it connected it cleans itself( i think). Are the icv`s different? Why affecting the rev counter ?

 

Was everything ok before changing the loom ??

 

Yes they are different i think are you running your std L6 ecu if so think the TPS sensor wires will require swapping (outer wires)

cos when u use a L8 ina 2wd saff you need to chenge um the other way and use a PF09 TPS(4x4 sensor)

also later looms have a knock sensor located LHS lower block on or near to the bung u take out for breather oil return
