fit a cossie in a classic ford

Testing the future
hi claus. do you have a father called santa?
what you need is a lot of money
what cossie engine do you have? it's easier to use a 4x4 exhaust manifold.
something will need to be done with the sump or engine mounting crossmember - i would mount engine to chassis rails and have a cossie 2wd alloy sump modified to clear the crossmember and have 'big wings' added at the same time for extra oil capacity and to prevent oil starvation in corners
if you're also going to use the 2wd cossie gearbox, t5, you will need a bigger transmission tunnel. you have the option of welding in one from an automatic model, or an aftermarket one or modifying your existing one.
something to operate the clutch - many people have converted to a hydraulic release bearing
you will need a propshaft manufacturing
uprated front brakes and suspension
uprated rear brakes, axle and suspension
fuel system uprated to include fuel pump etc needed for fuel injection
uprated radiator and somewhere to mount the intercooler (i suggest an rs500 style i/c in the front of the car, and the radiator in the boot for a laugh ofr which you may need to uprate the water pump or fit a secondary electrc helper pump)
plenty more things, but that should keep you busy for a little while.
