Ignition Problem
My 2.0 16v mk1 mondeo now has an ignition problem.
i have just fitted a new alarm and taken the old one out. I know its nothing to do with either of them as it still won't run with the alrms either in or out.
the car will start and run fine for about 10-20 seconds. then its sorta sputters and dies off. Smelling very rich when it does so. There is fuel getting to the injecters.
Does this sound like it could be to do with the coil. as that has has a join put in the wireing which i made more permanent than a terminal block. and since then it has run.
thanks for any help.
