cosworth air filter size and air flow ,how important is it ?what are the effects of a small filter not flowing enough air (turbo)?

Undersized filters have two effects; Firstly, it could limit airflow and therefore power. Secondly, the dirt retention capability of the filter is reduced and the dirt will reduce flow resulting in the first condition.

There's only one way to find out if your filter is restricting your engine.
Do a dyno power run with the filter on and a power run with it off and compare the results.
Thats what I'm planning to do soon with my setup
