Puma heater switch problem!!!

Has anyone here had a problem with a heater switch? as they are elecrtonic on the Ford Puma mine is constantly set to hot has no change if winded to cold, can't cope in this heat i think i'll melt
Any advice would be appreciated

hello mate you probably need a new mixer valve look under the bonnet and follow the coolant pipes up to and through the plastic engine bay bulkhead on the other side of that is a valve that the pipes go into with a two pin multiplug on it change that it should sort your problem

Sounds like your heater control valve mate, quite a few people have experienced this problem. Think they are about £40 for a new one from Ford, very easy to fit as well
