Default frst help please this is a weird one

are you ready for a long one cus its done my head in for the last week

ok first i swoped over from a t2 to a t3 turbo all went back together ok as far as i am aware then we changed the injectors to beige injectors but what i wasnt aware of they were the wrong ones (bought off ebay and shouldnt have taken someones word for it should of checked part number) anyway put them in without looking at them all went in ok went to turn it over and it wouldnt turn over tried but wouldnt quite go so then checked the part number and found out they were the wrong ones so put the blues back in and it was the same so started checking the usual things spark and such like took one of the plugs out turned it over looking for a spark and then it fired up on 3 without the 4th plug in so thought it must have been blockage or something so put the plug back in and again it wont start then proceeded through all 4 plugs and it did the same on them all starts on 3 but when 4th plug is in it tries but wont quite go
any ideas what this could be

i have tried putting the plug in whilst running on 3 and soon as the plug gets close to the hole it cuts out(dodgy i know )

i was told the erst manifold gasket was diferent so swoped that but same have fuel

all injectors seem to be working all plugs have spark

i am wondering if putting the wrong injectors in might have blown the ecu at the mo trying to get hold of an ofac ecu now

but if you can help in any way let me know as i am starting to run out of hair to pull out

So does the car cut out before you start screwing the plug in?

the car itself didnt start after we swoped the injectors and the turbo all it did was try to fire

so thats when we took the first plug out to check for spark and it cracked straight up on 3 without the plug in so we thought put it back in and try it but the same happened

but the car was fine before when it was running on the t2 that morning

That has to be an electrical fault if you don't even have to screw the plug in.....

i think its maybe more its blocking the air from coming out the port mayby at the mo asthough the engine is choking itself and when u go to put plug in its blocking airflow as such.

i can see what ya mean matey im am gonna take the ecu to pj's on monday see if he can check it over

Theres no way pushing the plug close to the hole is going to cut an engine out on a pressure/richness basis.

You sure all 4 injectors are firing?

yeah definetly firing
this is why i am think possibly asthough there might be something in the downpipe/turbo manifold blocking it so the exhaust gas's have knowhere else to go other than the plug hole if ya see what i am saying

U would know about it if the there was a blockage, it would be making popping noises if it was escaping out of the plug hole.

And if it was blocked itw ouldnt run on 3 either........i seriously think you have a wiring fault, not necessarily a loose connection, but a bad earth or feedback somewhere....

So all you've done is change to a T3 and fit those shindogu injectors, and then change back to injectors you ran previously without any problems?

Have you had the leads off?

Are you 100% certain they are on teh correct way?

This system fires with the wasted spark principle so fires 2 at once. Its not totally unfeasible that you cold get them wrong in such a manner that 1 mising would allow it to run, but the 4th would cause an issue.
