iv got a m3 escort cab 1600cc injection,the engine is not modified. iv got a zetec bottom end i want 2 drop in there coz its so slow. would the standard injection system be ok to run with 2L bottom end coz can't afford a pair of carbs at the mo.

You'd need new pistons to maintain a reasonable compression ratio for non-turbo..

or skim about 2mm of the cylinder head...

dont know if the valves will then hit the pistons...

i built a carbed zvh & it ran fine without pistons being machined or any thing like that

smitsturbo, have you had any probs with idle cus mine drives fine but idles like sh@t. does anyone know how much is possible to skim off the head without any probs
