Can anyone help me im currently uprating my fuel system.I have 2 pumps 1 as a lift pump from the alloy tank to a swirl pot and the other is a 044 high pressure pump to the injector rail .The car is a mk4 escort running 4x4 sierra cosworth running gear.Im looking to have the 2 pumps on sperate switches on the dash but havent a clue on the wiring or if i need relays.Dose anyone have any advise or diagrams that could help me as i want it to look good and all work well without any risc of fire.

Ok u will need relays as the current drain on 2 pumps is a lot.
you are using the same pumps as i ,but i do not have dash switching.
using black/red fuel pump + split into two and then connect to two quality switches of your choice, then the other side of switches go to two 40 amp relays labeled no 86 ,u will then need battery feed straight form batt to spade labeled no 30 ,connect earth to each relay no 85 , and then the last spade terminals are for fuel pump +no 87.
it is late so i will check numbers for relays tomorrow.
unless someone else can clarifiy ?
