3 door cossies do have an engine management light, as jr cossie has found. it's on the small panel above the digi clock, with the low fuel warning and low washer water warning. it's an orange warning lamp that comes on when the ecu senses a fault with a sensor or something.

look here and here and here for what to do (build a test light, check the error code, find the error and fix it).

job done. enjoy cossie ownership

Hi,

I believe it is not necessary to build a test light.
Just shunt, on 5 holes connector, near ECU, the 2 lower pin.
And fault cold should be given directly by engine mngt light.

Regards.

Is your Cossie chipped? If it is, it *might* just be that the ECU is seeing an overboost situation (st1 normally about 15psi).

Thats why the check light goes on beause as Billabong said .Thats no trouble as it turns off as you switch off the engine and start it again.
