Default help teves

Hi , i want know the brakes system of cosworth 4x4, i know this system is a teves mk II, but i want know if i disconect a hidraulic pump the car have a little brakes with the pedal or i am without brakes ? I talked with a friend and he said to me that if a pump fails only have a little brakes during a little time i saw a rally crash in spain with a 3dr , and a very brutal crash and the problem was the car havent brakes, i think that is bad system if the hidraulic pump fails the car had only a littles brakes and next nothing of brakes!

sorr for the english

Regards

With pump failure you have 100% brakes for couple of brakings and then you're left with very little brakes at all (I think only front). It's possible to stop the car that way but not very quickly - I know because I had pressure switch failure and I did a lot of kilometers that way.
