Default amal valves

Does anyone know if you need to leave the white inserts/restrictors in a new amal valve. as my old one hasent got any, and the new one has them in two of the three tube ports?

You can adjust your boostpressure by changing these inserts. The bigger the hole in the inserts, the more boost you get. When you buy a stage 2-kit from Mountune for example, you get another set of inserts which are included in the kit,and these have a bigger hole.

You will want to keep the restrictors if you car has been set up with them..
