hello guys do you no of any were that i can get a set of low compression pistons from for a rs turbo s2 or can i have the piston crowns skimed to low the compression cheers

 

burtons . but why u want to go low comp?

 

so i can run higher boost with out reduceing the reliability

 

im runnin 1.9 bar with no det and mine is higher than standard

 

you can't buy forged pistons for the CVH. You skim the crowns to whatever CR you require.

 

Of course you can buy forged pistons for CVH's..

 

Surely with higher compression you need superb managment and fuelling so nothing goes wrong. I expect the throttle response is miles better though????and low comp pistons with rings are something like 137 for cosworth each or 100 odd for mahle/accralite from burtons
