Ive got a series 2 rs turbo and recently it has had trouble starting. It just turns over n over and when it does fire its on 3 cylinders for about 20 seconds. however once started it runs fine. When accelerating hard though there is a strong smell of petrol as though it is being flooded. If anyone could knows what the problem is any help would be appreciated as its driving me mad.

 

yes sounds like your over fuelling bad !
