Actuator Dead?? help!
Hi all,
I have a three door cossie with a stage one chip and a standard actuator on it. This is how i bought it! Was driving along on boost when all of a sudden seemed to lose the boost bit.
Got a boost guage on it and its running and holding about 0.5 bar so itried shorteneing the actuator rod but it doesnt seem to make much difference...
Is this a dead actuator which i should swap to a -31 or more serious than that!? No smoke or any nasty noises really.
Help Please!

Hello mate for the sake of about 80 quid i would just replace the actuator and hopefully your problem will stop, a -31 is good but you should have your car chipped with a -31, cos if you wind up boost to much it will run like a pig. Hope this was helpful

i'm sure he says hes got a stage 1 chip so it would be ok to run a -31 actuator on it anyhow!
just dont turn up the boost too much!
sounds like uve got a boost guage anyhow so u can keep an eye on it !
