The MK4 Escort mobilities came with power steering, you may be able to track down a rack off one of them and that will bolt straight on with all the bits it needs...........

The MK4 mobility vehicles were high top with a lift on the back, basically a car designed for people in wheel chairs, you know what i mean?

steering is fine for me but i can understand were she is coming from it has 195/50 r15 and has been lowered, i did think of putting standard springs back in it but it would lose the look.

Usually they are easier when lowering because of the camber they suffer with. Bigger wheels also make the steering lighter from my experience.

Tell her to get her arse down the gym and to stop complaining

the only possibility would be to get a mk5 power steeering rack and see if that would fit. You will have problems with belts and stuff to drive the pump. I have seen a few cars which have electronic power steering ( i dont know how!!! fucking SAABS!!!) Apart from that.!

Hey an idea no one has thought of! GET ANOTHER BIRD???

Get another girlfriend?? Maybe one with bigger biceps?? or tell her to get down the gym

Or get her to drive an Old Skool Ford without Power Steering, like a Capri? she soon think the Escort's got P/S
