can eny one help my s2 keeps geting realy hot mostly just round town soon as i get into town the tempreture gauge shoots upto three quaters also thers no heaters inside the car so i changed the water and coolant the other day thought ther must be a air lock left it ticking over heaters on cap of the tank so ther cant be an air lock or is ther still realy bugging me now bin like it for a couple of weeks also had the head gasket ckecked that was fine

have the thermostat housing off, and un-clip the thermostat. immerse it in freshly boiled water and see if it opens. if not, replace with new one.
