I need a bit of help with my escrot rs turbo, its running rich (you can smell petrol from the exhaust) is this just the CO, if so can i turn it down a bit myself?

Also when you floor it the cam rattle its arse off, does this means its f**k'd.

Any help will be gratefull

 

The fuelling can be adjusted, on the assumption the metering head isn't fucked. You need to have it set up on a rolling road really though as they are tempermental and idle CO levels mean diddy squat on MFI.

If the cam taps etc then yea its 99% guna need a new cam n lifters. You will be surprised at how much better it drives after though
