Default ARP stud and nut kit

do you need to machine the block to use these,
as in re-tapped??

and what power are normal head bolts ok to?

arp stud and nut kits dont need any machining of the block.

quite a few people run decent power levels with standard head bolts including karl norris. hope that helps.

karl uses standard bolts on his own car.

stud and nut kits wont crack blocks if they are fitted correctly. a mate of mine has used them on his car for at least the last 3 years with no probs whatsoever.
