Clutch Cable...saff cos 4x4
Just been driving the cos and all of a sudden the clutch peddle kept sticking when i put my foot on it to change gear, it gets stuck half way then snaps in to place, this has been happening none stop.
I have greased the pedal, the cable looks ok, But where it feeds in the bulk head i've noticed that the plastic cover thing where the cable runs through seems to be lose.
Does this bit hasve to stay in the hole in the bulk head, or not
Sorry if i don't make any kind of scense, i'm just describing the prob as best as i can.
Any help would be appreciated

Usaully a bit of movement in that part of cable into bulkhead, have you checked the cable hasn't melted near to manifold????
Could be a few things though, does ratchet on the peddle make any noises when you get the problem, clicking or slipping etc????
If alls well with cable/ratchet/peddle take the cable off the clutch release arm and try moving cable back and too to see if it travels freely
Could be something wrong with the clutch then, release bearing dodgy etc
