Default brake problem

hi every one i got a problem with the brakes on my escort gti. it started when i changed pads and discs when doing this i found that the drivers side pistion was siezed so i got a second had one off ebay any way i started to notice that the cars seemed to be strugling to pull off but i didnt think any thing of it but the other night it happened again so i stopped the car and had a look but staright away i could feel the heat coming off the wheel the wheel its self was hot to touch so it binding for some reason any would got any ideas this doesnt happen all the time just now and then.

sometimes the inside of the flexi brake hose collaspes and only lets the fluid go one way in your case the fluid is not returning when you take your foot off the brake pedal and the caliper is probably sticking on slacken the banjo fitting on the caliper end and the caliper should free off if this happens fit a new hose its not very likely that the caliper is sticking hope this helps

just were the pipe connects into the caliper sorry iwas getting a bit technical

Get it to a garage mate, If the wheels getting hot theres a certin chance its going to get to hot or catch fire if you leave it!.

Default Brake Problem

I had the same problem with my GTi, it ended up been the brake hoses that needed replacing, mine ended up locking up though on the M62 and flinging me into a ditch.

Might just be worth getting some new or reconditioned calipers
