Right

Its very simple, but also quite tricky at the same time if that makes any sense at all?

The easy bit: the sensor mounts in an aluminium adapter which bolts onto the block

The tricky bit: drilling the holes ACCURATELY

You don't need torun and efi block as you can use a sierra 1800 cvh bottom pulley and sensor and bracket, all direct replacements of 1600 items ( The pulley just needs a skim to make it narrower to clear the inner wing ) the pulley has the 36 - 1 teeth on it like the efi flywheel does so this can be used and you won't need to change your engine, doesn't this sound a bit easier?

Shopping list

1800 cvh crank pulley,
1800 cvh alternator pulley ( Uses thicker belt )
1800 cvh alternator bracket ( Skim 4mm of the side to move alternator over towards the driver side allowing all pulleys to line up exactly )
1800 cvh cambelt cover with crank sensor in it ( cut off just above the lower two bolt holes to allow the use of original top cambelt cover )

any questions just ask !!

Ive got an old xr2i block that im going to dump so was going to use that as a template by griding out the bit that the sensor fit's into and put it over the s2 block so i drill it in the right place do you think it would work
