Going to powdercoat parts of my fiesta but want to know if i can take off the s shaped tray underneath and the gearbox guard (the one with the towing eye attached to it) off to paint?

The car is complete and just wanted to know the answer incase anything heavy my be attached to these parts that could cause an accident???
