Default Loosing water (FRST)

I seem to be loosing water over a long period of time. I have checked all the pipes/engine for leaks it's not dripping on the road it seems to be evaporating after a few trips
Also on the motorway the faster i go the more the car temp goes up at about 80mph the needle goes just below red, but when i drop to 65/70mph it comes down to half

ps. oil and water are NOT mixing

i would appreciate any help/advice

Thanks

its not just a dodgy temperature sender is it ? my s1 used to go haywire on the motorway i used to have to pull over every 2 mile panicking looking for steam lol. i just changed the sensor it was ok after that. is your fan kicking in and have you changed the thermostat. leave it on idle and wait for the fan to start up if it dont you need a new fan switch.

my m8s series 1 used to get hot around 80mph , does your power drop off a little when it shows warm ?
i think he replaced the rad on his cos it was slightly blocked and it sorted it out .
as for loosing the water , does it run ruf when u start it ? or are the carpets damp at all ?
