Default cosworth oil seperator

when fitting a bailey oil seperator do you have to remove the black (tin) oil breather thing whch goes into the block under the inlet manifold or just remove the plastic bit with the gauze in it????

Hope you know what im talking about.

remove the lot if you are going to use the existing sump return for the bailey
