Default Electronic Turbo's

Hi there,

Does anyone have any information on these electronic turbo's, I have been reading up on them but can't seem to find anyone that actually has one on their car.

Any information would be great.

Cheers

I once did the math and calculated how much power is needed to compress air from 1 bar to 2 bar (1 bar of boost) for an air mass flow required for 200hp. Then assume this power was produced by a 12V electric motor the current needed was in the order of a thousand amperes. Much too much for any car alternator to handle, and definately not a job for computer fans
