ive got a series 1 turbo, the person who owned it before me said it may be chipped but he aint sure as it has a chip in the ecu that says 'esc white' on it.

at the moment the car boosts to 1 bar initially then after a split second holds 0.8 bar on the gauge all the way to the redline. is this pressure to high for standard? as my car feels a bit too quick for 130 bhp and i kept up with an audi s3 yesterday and the car goes off the clock :S

so id be quite alright to buy a -31 actuator and ask a garage to fit and tune to a higher boost pressure with out it cutting out?
