I'm posting this on behalf of a mate. He got a G plate 1600i Orion MFI, wants to make it faster without a turbo lump? I suggested twin 40's, cam, get the head done etc etc. Any idea whats the best route on a budget, and if anyone got anything to sell that might help? What sort of power would he be looking at roughly and what sort of performance should he expect?

tell him to save his money and buy something with good power as standard and tune that , why dont he want to turbo it?? it open open up a few more options for him!!

 

Being different I think. IMO, a turbo transplant is too easy and too common. Using carbs is a bit 'old skool' and nothing can beat the roar u get from carbs or TB's!
