Default MOT Failure

the light is permanently on in the dash ov me car (the orange 1) which has resulted init failing its mot as the bloke says theres a problem with the abs

any ideas its an s2(plus theres no sensors in the brake pads-and the brake pads are brand new)

abs sensors are not in the pads, the ones in the pads are wear sensors, just look for the cabel going to your fronts it will be the only one anywhere near your wheels! the sensors tend to stick in place but remove clean test and see if it worx, if not replace em, that or read my post in your other thread and you will no what to do

wouldnt reccomend it,but last time i had to get my last s2 trhough an mot i had the same problem but was in a hurry so i soldered wire from the batery light bulb to the abs bulb so it went out with the baterry light

s2 abs sensors are not near the wheels they are above the gearbox and are really only belt break sensors.
remember its mechanacial abs not electronic make sure the belts are ok
