i have a Mk4 XR3i. i was wondering will an ERST box bolt on easily? what is the main difference between the RST and XR3i box? ive heard that the RST has an LSD but was wondering if there any difference in ratios etc etc.

disel box has longer ratios and both should bolt straight in, not sure if turbo and 3i are same ratios, oh you want 1.8 diesel box not 1.6

From information i can see the the Xr3i box has a final drive ratio of 4.29:1, and the S2 box is 3.82:1

Both will bolt straight in, LSD boxes are by far the best.
